How can I place a bid? |

To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in, a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place your chosen bid . If you do not see a Place Bid button on the listing page, then the listing has already closed. We will notify you via e-mail if you have been outbid by another user. Remember, you must be a registered member before you can begin bidding on items. Don't worry! Registration is free and easy! |

How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on? |

You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your Members Area and selecting the Bidding page. |

How do I know if I am outbid on an item? |

Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid. |

Is it possible to lower or retract my bid? |

At this time, it is not possible to lower or retract a bid once it is placed. Please be very careful when you bid and only place bids that you intend to follow through with. |

How can I find more information on an item before making a purchase? |

Before placing your bid, take some time to look over the Listing of the item you interested in. We suggest you learn as much information as possible about any item you are looking at. Before Bidding you may want to Ask Seller A Question if you require additional information about the item, the payment terms, or would like to determine shipping and handling costs. |

Why does the system tell me my bid is invalid? |
|
There are two reasons why a confirmed bid can be considered invalid:
1.You have entered an invalid value in the Bid Amount field. Make sure that your bid amount contains only numbers and decimal points, i.e., 5.00. Do not enter any dollar signs ($) or commas (,) into the bid amount field.
2.Your bid amount is less than the Next Bid value. Make sure that your bid is equal to or greater than the current Next Bid value shown on the listing page. |

Will the system allow me to bid against myself? |
|
No, bidders are not able to bid against themselves. If you attempt to place a bid against yourself, you may end up raising your maximum proxy bid, but your current bid will not be affected. |

Why am I immediately outbid every time I place a bid? |
|
This means that another bidder has placed a maximum (proxy) bid higher than yours. As soon as your bid was confirmed, our system raised the other member's bid above yours just enough to make them the current highest bidder. |

Why did my bid jump up so high? |
|
If you are bidding in a Reserve auction and you set your maximum bid at a price that is equal or higher than the seller's reserve price, your bid will automatically be raised to meet it. For example, a seller sets a minimum bid at $10 and a reserve price at $20. If you set your maximum bid at $40, your bid will automatically jump to $20 and it will be noted that the reserve price has been met.
Another situation where your bid might jump is when another bidder places a higher maximum bid. Our system will automatically place your bid, up to your set maximum bid, on your behalf. |

What if I cannot contact the seller? |

Please be patient as the seller may have been unable to respond to his/her email. If you are unable to contact the seller within a reasonable amount of time, we encourage you to leave appropriate feedback to warn others. |

What do I do if the seller decides not to sell the item? |
|
Although we do encourage buyers and sellers to follow through with their business obligations, AuctionErotica cannot force anyone to complete a transaction if they choose not to. If this situation does occur, bidders are encouraged to take action by leaving suitable feedback for the seller to warn others. |

You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the Sell link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category or a second category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description. |
